I just watched this show and she has the entire meal plated and ready to serve, then she pours the glaze over the uncut turkey.

I am definately going to make this glaze for my turkey this Thanksgiving. I agree with the other person who wondered when do you put the glaze on the turkey. I do know that most glazes will burn if you put them on a chiken, turkey or ham too soon. So, I think I will put the glaze on the bird near the end of the cooking time. If anyone has any other thoughts on that I would be pleased to hear them. Thanks

This was my first Thanksgiving turkey and it came out so good. It was easy to make and my husband helped out too. We are making this turkey recipe again this year.

I used this marinade-glaze on chicken thighs. I used cranberry sauce instead of the cranberries - l whole can. Doubled the recipe and marinaded the legs overnight. Cooked on 375 for 45 min, and glazed last 20. They were so good that I'm going to keep the glaze on hand for ribs also.

I agree with Linda from MI. 11/17/08 comment, there are no clear directions on how to apply the glaze. Can you advise, Please!

For the past 3 years I have brined my turkeys without fail. This year I wanted to try something new ( a bit leary When I saw this recipe I decided this was the one. I made it last night and was in love. In fact the whole family was raving ALL NIGHT. I made some of my own modifacations like I always do when cooking. I added oranges and mandarin oranges to the cavity to give the turkey a citrus flavor througout the bird (I also do this when roasting chickens I also cut a slit between the skin and the breast and but the butter mixture between the skin and the breast which made the breast nice and juicy. ( again I do this with my chicken I also doubled the cranberry glaze and half way through the cooking time I started basting the turkey with the glaze which was phenominal. the kids loved it. The adults loved it, and my friend who came over for 10 min to taste it loved it. I think I will be making this over the 24 hr brine. Thanks Paula!!!
