I like this chili. Because of chemo treatment, I can't do real spicey. So I changed all the chilies to mild can chilies. I added an extra can of beans. It's great, thick, and has great flavor. We have cooked this in our crockpot 5 times in the last two months. It has become a family meal served often.

I thought it was just okay chili. The Ancho powder was an expensive item and for this recipe, not worth the cost. If you are looking for something spicy it was fair. I think I could tweek it to make it my own. Lack of garlic is really apparent.
