Ingredients

  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 small onion, grated

Enjoyed this marinade especially because it's different. Next time, I will marinade the ham overnight to see if it will enhance the flavor more.

But tastes great. I made fun of my husband for years about eating PB and ham (or bacon sandwiches. For his birthday a year ago, I made this. Thought he could just eat it himself, but then I tried a bite. I would almost liken it to chicken satay, but with ham. Same savory/sweet combo. Cheap, and really good. You won't regret it!! (Make with Alton's stove-top mac-n-cheese.

This is an easy recipe that is superb! The peanut sauce is very versitile and can be used on many things. If you haven't had grilled ham, you don't know what you are missing.
