Understand that there are supposed to be eggs in this recipe. Can someone who actually saw the episode tell us how many to use? Thanks!

it was a dynamite. my frieds loved it. i substituted ground beef the second time i've made it and it was just as good. i even gave the pie a nick name "meat brisket". i would suggested this recipe to everyone i know.

My husband and I both loved this. It is so filling!! I made individual pies instead of one large one. Will definitely make again!

In all the recipes I have tried, Paula Deen has never failed me; this recipe is no exception. It's perfect the way it is, I cannot think of any tweaks I would make . . . except next time I will probably double the recipe!

I served this to my study partners with fruit and it was enjoyed by all. Not greasy and very tasty with the two cheeses. Thanks,Paula. Everyone thinks I am a great cook and I owe it all to you!

THIS EASY TO PREPARE PIE IS MEATY, CHEESY, CREAMY, AND NOT EGGY. IT IS EXTREMELY TASTY HOT OR COLD, BRUNCH, DINNER, OR SNACK. WHENEVER, I PREPARE THIS IN THE FUTURE IT WILL ALWAYS BE TWO AT A TIME.

This is a terrific dish. My best friend of 30 years is visiting and we both love Paula. I TIVO all her episodes and we had a Paula marathon. When she made this pie, The Sausage pie caught our attention right away. I realized I had all the ingredients on hand, so we jumped up and made it. We had a piece as soo as it was don and loved it!. We have been going back to the kitchen throughout the day and sneaking pieces. It is good hot or at room temp. This is a very versatile recipe and were already looking at the possibilities of using Italian Sausage, mozzarella and a little bell pepper. Another winner from Paula. Simple, easy and delicious.

This was really good and even the fussy child loved it and asked for seconds. I cooked the sausage up the night before so when I got up, I just cooked the onions, etc. and put it together with the pre-cooked sausage in no time. This is a great breakfast recipe! Thanks, Paula!
