This was a good START but I had to hook this recipe up UP since I'm from New Orleans!!! It was good after I made some additions... I looked at other reviews and decided what I needed to do!

I added chopped red bell pepper, Morton's Nature's Seasoning, McCormick's Garlic and Herbs seasoning, Crushed Red Peppers, Seasoned Pepper, and some Miracle Whip. It was AWESOME!!!!! Us NOLA folks don't like PLAIN OLD food so this came out GREAT!!! I will definitely make it again!

On a side note... I used the boneless salmon by Chicken of the Sea (two cans and drained the water. NO BONES (cheaper than the pouches and it was PERFECT! I also let the croquettes set for 30 minutes in the fridge to ensure they did not fall apart during my deep fry in peanut oil! Additionally, I breaded them in a mixture of plain bread crumbs and Italian bread crumbs (more plain than Italian so the flavors would not be overpowered!

    EXCELLENT!!!!!!

4 stars, as is. But, it can be 5 stars with just a little more effort. Add Old Bay seasonings to your liking...I like a lot. I always make with 2 eggs, and I add freshly grated parmasean to the mixture. Probably about 1/4 cup. Lastly, I use two of the large foil packets of salmon. Not sure how that translates to the amount originally called for, but it works. Serve with Ina Garten's tartar sauce. Fabulous.

Very good, quick, easy, and cheap! Added a lot of black pepper. We will definitely be making these bad boys again. Paula Deen is boss.

I can only imagine that if you followed the actual recipe, you had the most bland tasting salmon croquettes ever. I doubled the egg, used yellow onion because I had no green onions on hand, added fresh minced garlic, salt and pepper, lemon juice, and some dill. Because of the changes I had quite a tasty dish.

This is a great, quick meal! I followed the recipe as written, and they turned out delicious! If you are on a budget and need a quick, but delicious meal, this is the way to go. I actually used the Wal-mart brand salmon in a can to make the salmon croquettes.

And, on the video, Paula mentioned that her sons ate this with syrup. I am woman enough to admit that I also tried the salmon croquettes with syrup, and it was absolutely DELICIOUS! Thank you Paula for that tidbit! I will definitely be making this again and again!

Haven't made these since I was growing up. Was wondering if they would be as good as I remembered....oh yes, they were. We made a lemon dill aoli for the top. My daughter in law, who isn't at all open to new stuff, gobbled them down. As I'd hoped, none left for lunch tomorrow!!

I used freshly baked salmon and fresh bread crumbs. Quick and easy. Definitely not tasty and on the heavy side. Next time, I would like to change the breadcrumbs, add some seasonings and lemon, and have some type of dip. A keeper to use as a basic recipe to add to but not good to make as is.

WOW! This is a great recipe! I'm not big on Salmon but, after my husband came back from Alska in May, he brought back some King Salmon. I added Panako bread crumbs, green onions (as called for, and a mix of chopped sweet pepper for color. This was not only my frist time making Salmon Croquetts but, my first time trying them as well. They came out perfect and my family enjoyed them!

Gave it a three cause if you just go straight with the recipe it's just very straight forward in taste as well.

However, this is a good starter recipe that leaves many flavor opportunities open so I definitly recommend using this as a base and just taking it in your own direction with either a sauce/topping or maybe just one or two added ingrediants to boost the yums! (bacon bits comes to mind
