Imade this for two of us, and knew there would be leftovers, so I left out the cuke & pepper, thinking they might get too wet in a day or two.I also used greek yogurt, no mayo to make it healthier, and we both really liked it. Saved to my recipe box. Leslie

This was such a great simple recipe. I am a college student so I have a tight budget and all the ingredients are cheap and easy to get. I used canned Salmon and it worked out just fine and it made a great salad.

I made this with fresh salmon, and I'm so glad I did. The only adjustment I made to this recipe was omitting the cucumber. I served it on a torta roll with some spicy mustard and romaine lettuce. It was delicious! It was the perfect fresh summer treat. Thanks Paula!

This was fantastic! First time I made it with salmon -- I used the salmon in a foil pouch and it worked fine. I used it in a stuffed tomato. Next time I substituted lump crab for the salmon -- better yet. Next time I make the salad with crab, I will try it with Old Bay Seafood seasoning to replace the cayenne. What a simple summer dish. Well, I guess it would taste good anytime wouldn't it!! Thanks, Paula.

I made this using leftover blackened salmon, added a little fresh dill from the garden, and devoured the entire thing piled on snack crackers! Delish! I love the kick the blackening gives!

I took a chance and made this for guests (without trying before hand - nothing but raves. I also made the other two recipes she made with it on her show (the Italian Tomatoes and the Marinated Red Potatoes - both big hits too (suggest not making more Potatoes that will be consumed that meal - they don't do well as left-overs.
I changed the recipe a little - used 1/2 Red & 1/2 Green Bell (for color - also diced the Hard Boiled Egg and served it on the side for those that wanted it (rather than mashing into the Salad
I've created a new section in my personal cookbook : "Summer Meals", because of these 3 recipes and I've got a side slab of Salmon defrosting so as to make another, huge batch of the Salad.

Very easy to make light salad and delicious. No more fish out of a can to make salad with. Plan to do this with other fresh fish as well.

This salad is exceptional! The cayenne gives it a great punch. It's full of flavor and healthy as well. This is one recipe I will always keep on hand and make often. Thanks Paula!
