Ingredients

  • Saltine crackers
  • Melted butter, for brushing
  • Caraway seeds, for sprinkling
  • Celery seeds, for sprinkling
  • Sesame seeds, for sprinkling

Directions

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.

Brush crackers with melted butter and then arrange on a baking sheet. Sprinkle crackers with caraway seeds, celery seeds, or sesame seeds, or a combination. Bake until lightly golden. Serve with shrimp, if desired.

    I made these for a party I was having and because they are "saltines" and not $5 per box, I noticed a couple of raised eyebrows - until they tasted a couple. Then they were gone in a flash! Ya gotta love these!

    These were very esy to make and I felt that I was eating a Heath Bar. I took them to my sewing club and others said that. They are wonderful!
