I was looking for a grilled vidalia onion recipe and I found the PERFECT one. So easy and so good! Served with B-B-Q pork loin, delicious. Will keep this one and use it often! Thanks Paula

I love this as an easy alternative to making onion soup. Also great as a side dish!

Recommended to make. Wonderfull side dish (who would have thought - "Onions as a side dish?" The only thing I say is - do cut off both ends of the onion - it's hard to eat with the root end still on it.

I served these Vidalia Onions with New York Strip Steak tonight. I followed the recipe for the onions, but additionally seasoned with Paula's House Seasoning. Served it with hot toasted parmesan bread. Just Wonderful!

This blew everyone's socks off. Can not get over the flavor I do recommend using vidalias for the best flavor but you can use sweet spanish onions. I found wrapping each onion in double foil is most helpful in case of a tear in the foil. Serve with BBQ chicken or a good steak. I even make these in the oven thank you Paula these are fantastic.

These were incredible! We live at a high altitude so they had to be in the oven quite a bit longer and we added a little bit of water and had them in bowls like french onion soup! It is melt in your mouth savory and delicious!

I loved them. So easy and the smell while they are on the grill is mouth watering.

Made these to go with the grilled burbon marinated beef tenderloin. Growing up we always added onions with a little butter and s&p wrapped in foil to the grill when had BBQ. These were very good, not remarkable. Not bad at all, but probably won't make them again. Very messy with a tablespoon of butter in addition to the moisture the onion produces.
