Tried these fantistic onions on the grill last night and my husband and I wished I'd have fixed more. We will doing this often summer and winter. We used our Washington Walla Walla Sweet Onions, which are equally as good as the Vidalia onions.

This is a great side dish for your next cook-out. If you like onion soup, you will love this. I will say that it took me longer to grill or bake this- took me one hour and 15 mins. Another hit for Paula

It took 90 minutes in a 450F toaster oven, but we like ours really soft. Other than that, it was really yummy.

The butter makes this dish. This was a treat this fourth of July that will be repeated over and over and over again. Thanks Paula- instead of Saturday Night Vidalias, we are calling these ANY Night Vidalias!!!

If you think you don't like onions, please give them one more try with this fabulous recipe. My husband hates onions, and he has told everyone who will listen how good this is! We served it with steaks, but it's also good with chicken and pork chops. Very easy prep, too.

I fixed these onions in the oven for my husband and a friend of ours and we all loved them! Please try them with anything that would go well with onions! The flavor was like french onion soup. They were absolutely delicious.
