    These sausage balls were horrible! Not even dipping them in sauce could help the dryness. I will never make these again. (very disappointing

    I followed the receipe as directed, but no-one cared for more than one bite, the sausage balls was to dry.

    I made these for Christmas Eve. They were the first things to go....I served mine with a sweet hot mustard. They were excellent!!!!

    I made the recipe just as it was, and it was GREAT! My nephew raved about them, and the dip was eaten with everything. I did use a brown mustard in the dip.... but that was the only variation! I will be making these again for New Year's Eve!

    It was very easy and tasted pretty good, but a bit too much oil for me.
    Those who prefer less fat or oil better cook on a pan instead of oven. Then you can remove excess oil using paper towel while cooking.

    First, should you cook the sausage or use it raw? The mix was very dry but had good flavor. Everyone seemed to like them. Good with beer but then again what isn't?
