I over baked it so it was a tad bit dry but otherwise this was fantastic. I served it with vanilla ice cream and poured the fudge over the ice cream as well. First time in a long time my 3 boys were ALL quiet at the same time except for a slight "mmmm" from time to time.
The flavor was perfect and the fudge is decadent.

I don't normally make desserts. But I decided to make this cake for my Mom's birthday. Everyone loved it. It was so moist and it justs melts in your mouth. Thank you for sharing it!!

This was a good recipe. I baked it the full 40 minutes and it was to dry for me. The fudge had a better consistency after it sat for a day and the German Chocolate really added to just a regular chocolate cake.

I'm not a good baker and this cake was easy to bake! The cake came out perfect! very soft and not overly chocolate or sweet. Very good!!! The sauce was a little too sweet.

This cake is fantastic! If made correctly it is very moist. Based on the ingredients in the cake, it comes exaclty the way you would think it would. It is not called super duper fudgy chcolatey cake with fugde sauce, it is called chocolate cake with fudge sauce and that is eaxactly what it is! It is not meant to be an extremely rich cake, which, one can decipher by reading the ingredient list (; There is a reason Paula is on TV and all of us are not. This cake is delicious and easy to make and I hope you try it!!!

This recipe is wonderful. I found it to be very moist. My kids loved the fudge sauce. In fact, everyone thought the fudge sauce itself was the best they'd ever tasted.

This is an awesome dessert, but I wouldn't recommend it as-is for entertaining. Everything really needs to be served warm, and if it is, it's heaven.
Last time I made this for a dinner party, however, I had no time to prepare the sauce during the get-together and ended up leaving it off the menu and serving some other dessert. A week later, I cubed the near-stale cake and briefly microwaved the pieces, put some in sundae glasses and topped with vanilla ice cream and that warm chocolate sauce. It was amazing.
