    I've made this twice recently. Once for my birthday instead of a cake. Once for our special Holiday Dinner. It was a big hit both times. The bourbon amount is just right. The chocolate mixture light and fluffy. I didn't use any whipped cream as I thought the dish too pretty to cover up. Thank you Paula for a great treat!

    not to be rude, but you guys really need to do your homework before you post. farming and handling of eggs has changed in recent years. there is very little chance of actually getting sick from eating raw eggs. (by the way, they are also used to make traditional caesar salad dressing

    Why would people ruin the ratings of recipes that they haven't tried?? If you don't like the recipe...don't make it...but don't ruin the rating for those of us who do appreciate honest ratings. I often use those ratings to decide what to try. I liked this recipe...not my favorite but good Thanks
