This summer I tried this recipe, I have made it at least 6 times and given the recipe to so many friends!!! It presents itself so well and taste compliments the presentation. I have found to cut corners, I use mandarin oranges, saves time and the flavor of these little oranges are always perfect. I also saute the peppers and onions in a little butter as these ingredients are not always done before the salmon. The reason, my husband went to Alaska and I am working with fresh salmon and don't know the exact weight...what a great problem!! Thanks Paula for the best recipe for salmon ever!!! I became an instant fan with this recipe!!! God Bless!!!

This salmon dish was outstanding. My family raved about it. The flavors all infuse into the salmon and made it moan- out-loud good!!! I plan on making it again for a special occasion. The presentation is just beautiful.

I tried this recipe with family once a few months ago, and since it is all they talk about, even my finicky brother-in-law. The Presentation of arranging the bell peppers ( I used red and yellow , onions, and orange sections stacked upwards with the strawberries and dill on top was the hook and had them oohing and ahhing. The flavor is amazing, just enough sweetness to balance the delicate flavor of the salmon.
More out-of-town family has arrived yesterday so I'm back in the kitchen today with this winner. I love it, and it's so easy with a little attention to detail.

I substituted Mandarin oranges in light syrup for the oranges and used the syrup with a little powdered sugar in place of the honey. All of the flavors mix really well together in this dish. The salmon came out buttery and the savory sweetness of the fruit and the herbs was just the ticket for a cold winter evening. The colors of this dish are very festive.

I had some strawberries I needed to and I was wanting salmon. So this seemed perfect. Coming out of the oven it was BEAUTIFUL. Very colorful. Here's why I gave it only three stars. The taste was different and a bit bitter. I don't care for dill but, used it anyways. IF I make this again, I will not use it. My oranges might have been the cause of bitterness. I would omit those next time. Maybe adding an orange bell pepper to save the color.
This is a fun and beautiful dish but, the flavors were all over the place. It was different. Fun to try but not great enough to repeat.

I was not sure about all this. It seemed like a strange combination. Boy was I wrong. It was great! Very easy to prepare yet it looks difficult when you serve it.

This recipe was a huge hit with my family. The colors were gorgeous and the combination of flavors was very unique. I did not as a few reviewers did, find it overly sweet. It was a perfectly delicate balance of flavors over the hardy fish. The only thing I wish I'd had was a FoodNetwork team to do all that cutting and chopping...haha! I prepared this dish one evening during the work week. BIG mistake. The preparation of the fruits and veggies takes time. I will definitely be making this dish again but next time it will be Sunday dinner! Thanks, Paula! It was superb!
