This was a wonderful way to fix scallops. The sauce was a little thick so I thinned it with chicken broth - I had no clam juice. I think it would have been better with the clam juice but it was still great.

Scallops are so delicate..why overpower them with all that sherry flavor?

this recipe was so super simple. The scallops were the best I have ever had. If I didn't know that I had prepared them I would have swore that I was eating them in a restaurant . These impressed everyone at my party.

The hardest thing I found about this recipe was finding the individual dishes to make it in. I can't beleive it was so easy and soo good. Thanks Paula, my husband and boys love watching you and your boys as much as I do!!

After reading the reviews I used a dry white wine, but only 1/2 cup and omitted the cheese at the end. The dish was very good and I would make it again.

There are several types of sherry, from sweet to dry. Paula didn't indicate which was to be used in her dish, but I think it needed dry, which is what I used and it was very good. Those of you who tasted the sherry only, were probably using a sweet sherry, which would have been quite cloying and dominate in the dish. Try again with dry sherry and see if it's better.

I made this for a dinner party. My guest loved it and many asked for the recipe, but I didn't care for it much! However it was a hit!

Paula-you did it again!!! This was a GREAT dinner!! I only used 1 pound of scallops because I was just making it for the hubby and myself. I did use less sherry per the other reviews and it was DELCIOUS!! I will make this again and again.

It was all I could taste. I was miffed because it drowned to taste of the scallops.

I plan to make this recipe again, but I'll be skipping the alcohol.
