I made this and took it to a 50th Wedding Anniversary Party and I doubled the recipe. Everyone had to find out where I got the recipe and all about it. I told them it was Paula Deen and I watched her everyday. I think you are the greatest cook ever. I do love to cook and try new things. Thank you so much for all your great recipes.

I made this as an appetizer for a Memorial day BBQ for my friends. Before I knew it one of my friends said if you want any of the dip you had better get it now because it is almost gone.
This was fabulous.

I was a bit shy when it came to adding the hot sauce because I am always afraid of adding too much heat to a dish.
I was wrong! This dip was wonderful and no left overs!

I love Paula, but was not crazy about this recipe. I even added some garlic (which it really needed but it still wasn't a hit. A dent was barely made in it.

This was so good, I've made it twice and both times it came out perfect. I chopped my shrimp a little bit more fine than Paula did. When I first tasted it (after mixing I thought it just tasted like mayo. Ewwww. But after I let it sit for a few hours it was delicious! I didn't know that letting it chill would be so important. It was even better the next day. This is so easy, yummy and perfect for all gatherings and appetizeers.
