After reading all of the comments about the hard to find cream of shrimp soup I set out far and wide to find it. I live in Maryland and actually found it at the Giant up the street from my house. I made it for a party and the people liked it. I will definately make again.

Made this for a party, doubled the recipe and it was gone in no time. Everyone loved it! Does this freeze well?

I made this on Christmas Day for my family. I used fresh crab meat and a full pound of shrimp. I had to substitute Cream of Celery soup because I could not find the Cream of Shrimp soup either. I served it with french bread and ritz crackers. The dip was devoured and was a big hit, even once it got cold. We will be making this for all special occasions now!

I LOVE Paula! When I saw this dip I instantly thought of my mother! She loves shrimp! So I made this for her today. She LOVED it.

NOTE: To whoever posted LIES on here saying this smells like fish and is stinky. That is a down right LIE. You probably used old or cheap seafood.

This is so delicious on ritz crackers. That's how we enjoyed this dip.

Thanks again Paula Deen. I have tried MANY MANY of your recipes, and they are always hits in my house. God bless you.

My dad has turned into a food network junkie and brought this awesome dip over. I have been wanting it again ever since. I had a really hard time finding the cream of shrimp soup. I ened up emailing the Campbell's company and asked for stores near my zipcode that carried it. About a week later they wrote me back with 3 stores. I also saw that you can order it on line but not sure if you want a case of it LOL. It's a super rich and tasty dip! A great crowd pleaser! Just made my first batch today.

I watched the episode when Paula made this and it looked great. Later searched for it when I was looking for some way to use up some leftover cooked shrimp I had in the fridge. I read several reviews, looked at what I had available and ended up using the pound of shrimp plus a pound of imitation crab and added 6oz mozzella and 6oz of taco blend to the parmesan. Cream of Shrimp soup is hard to find in small town WI so used Cream of Celery This dip received RAVE reviews at a football party... Thanks Paula!!!!

This is a great appetizer to bring along with sliced baguette bread. The seafood is not overpowering, the cheese and mayo make it very comforting :

I don't know what to use in place of the cream of shrimp soup, as I can't find it at the supermarket. I know Campbell's used to make it, but I don't think they do anymore. I am dying to try the recipe but I will have to substitute the cream of shrimp soup for something elese.
