this was excellent and very easy to make, even using canned crab, because in ohio, crab dont' come easy!
we do not like cooking w/wine,so used 1/2 cup of chicken stock instead

I tried this for the first time on 3/11/07 and it was very easy. My family loved it and couldn't stop raving about it.

    I will make again.

I couldnt find the claw crab so I used canned crab (very expensive and it was way too fine and I thought it takted more like a dip for crackers. I ended up throwing it out. It really made a lot.

I enjoyed every bite. My husband doesn't eat crab or shrimp so I froze most of it and had it for a quick lunch on several occasions. Will make it again and again.

this is now a staple in our house! what a yummy and easy recipe. a few changes i've made-i use immitation crabmeat since it's SO much cheaper and i think i actually like the texture better in this. i cut down the prep time by buying precooked shrimp. we weren't a fan of the heavy cheddar topping, so i've subbed a mix of plain breadcrumbs and parm cheese-so much better and it gives it a nice crunchy topping!
