EXCELLENT... My husband and adult son told me this was THE BEST SHRIMP CREOLE they have ever eaten and I agree with them. The spices were PERFECT.. The only thing I did differently was to DOUBLE the recipe.. You too would be smart to double this recipe because it's that GOOD.. A 5 stars for sure. Thank you Paula.

I'm really disappointed in this one. I normally LOVE Paula Deen recipes. It was just okay. I will use the base recipe next time but will tweak it. I think it needs a bay leaf, garlic and a little chicken broth. I might add some freshly chopped parsley too. I do love using a crock pot though! Lastly, there's no way this will feed 8 people. I mixed in a cup of rice and it was just enough for 4 adults. We are moderate eaters. Not tiny servings but we aren't 2nds or 3rds kind of people.

Very good. I added smoked sausage too, and everybody ate it, even the picky kids.

This is delicious. I only had a lb. of shrimp, so I added diced cooked chicken to make up the difference. Another winner, Paula--thank you.

Made this for two of the pickiest people I know and they ate it all. I doubled the recipe as I knew if they did like it they would go crazy.......and they did......Easy and so good.

We loved it! Like others, I changed it slightly by using a 15 oz. can of tomato sauce, adding garlic when cooking the veggies, doubled the hot sauce and chili powder, and added some Old Bay seasoning as well.

Best Shrimp Creole recipe i've ever made. Family loved it. I did add alittle more hot sauce and a little more shrimp other than that it was perfect.
