I MADE THIS MEAL AND IT WAS A HIT WITH MY FAMILY. BUT INSTEAD OF CHILI POWDER I USED CAYENNE PEPPER.

I made this for my husband and I and we both love it. I added double the onion, green pepper, celery and tomatoe sauce. It does need more heat. I also added sausage to it. I will be making it again. This recipe is going in my recipe binder for future use.

Great recipe for creole. My one complaint here is that it's not in any way a one pot dish. It's a three pot dish. One for sweating the trinity, another for the shrimp blend and and third for the rice.

This was a big hit with my husband and I. It is quick and easy since you just throw it in the crockpot. It is also great because it is a healthy recipe that my husband actually wants to eat! Definitely a keeper!

Had this Christmas Day. Absolutely wonderful. Everyone, even the kids, loved it. Served over rice and had green salad. Complete meal.

So Easy! I've been making this about once avery 2 weeks for about 6 months now. I serve it over or with Zatarain's New Orleans Style Rice. The only things I changed are 2 lbs of US wild caught shrimp (preferably from NC instead of 1.5 lbs and I added about a teaspoon of garlic. Gotta get a plug in for NC Seafood! It's the greatest! You go girl!
