I made these for a Mardi Gras party and they were a HUGE hit. People were rushing to get one more before they were all gone! Yes, they do have a lot of high fat ingredients, but you just eat a couple so no worries.

These are easy to make, and everyone loves them...when I ask what I can bring to a party...these are requested!! I will tell you that I make the whole recipe, then I freeze them before I put the topping on and bake. I actually fill them, put them back in the tray that they come in from the store - tape the box up and freeze them. Great to have on hand for unexpected company.

These tarts are the best! I have made them several times. I did change a few things. I used less onion, no garlic, and a red pepper instead of a green one. I also used italian breadcrumbs instead of plain. Thanks for a great recipe!

I have prepared this appetizer up to the point of stuffing the shells. I used lump crab meat inlieu of shrimp, as I am doing a shrimp dish for the entree. Also I halved the recipe. The filling tastes fantastic and I have no doubt the end result will be the same. I most likely will have to reheat the filling a bit so it can be easy to scoop into the shells. Can't wait to taste the final result. Also I made my own creole mix. Couldn't find it in the store.

OMG!!! This was so so so so good. Instead of using regular cream cheese they now sell flavor cooking cream cheese. I used the garlic & herb flavor about a half of cup. This work great was so good and added flavor to mixer. We were fighting for the last ones another keeper. Thanks.

This was such a hit at our 4th of July party. I doubled the recipe and used the whole 8oz package of cream cheese. I put the extra in a bowl and set it out with a bag of tostito scoops and everyone loved it that way also. So if you don't want to mess with the filo cups you can use it as is as a dip with some tortilla or pita chips.
