My family and I love this recipe! I cooked it without artichokes, thinking my husband and young daughters wouldn't like...boy was I wrong! They all loved it. I called my sister to brag that I have young children with mature palates! Making again tonight, right after I post!

Wife and I made tonight. 7/30/12. We followed the recipe until we got to the red peppers, we love spicy so we doubled what was called for. We also drained the artichoke hearts and removed the longer leaves from them so you don't have chewy artichoke. We served over pasta. It was excellent, will prepare again soon. May try with chicken next time. Thank You Paula..:

Fabulous! I added shallots but otherwise made exactly as given. Served with angel hair. Easy and loved by all!

slightly different recipe in one of Paula's books...no olive oil,1/3 cup basil, juice from one lemon when added basil, no parmesan. My gosh, this was quick, easy, and sooo yummy. Served with whole-wheat penne pasta. Yum!

Wow! This was surprisingly easy and exceptionally good. We tweaked it a bit......decreased butter to 4 1/2 tablespoons, added some pasta water after adding the shrimp, increased red pepper flakes - served with angel hair pasta - squeezed lemon juice over all. Next time will add lemon juice and zest when adding the shrimp. Excellent dish!

My husband and I loved this recipe! I cut the amount of shrimp down to one pound. I used a half stick of butter. All of the rest of the ingredients I used the amount stated in the recipe. I used spagetti noodles. We both thought it was an excellent dish!! I will be making it again! Thanks Paula.
