Usually love all of Paula's recipes so I thought I would give this a shot. Really didn't care for it. The French onion soup wasn't enough to give this a strong enough flavor. I made it and tried it before even serving it to anyone else. This recipe didn't make it to the table. I would stick to the norm when it comes to sloppy joe recipes; didn't care for this one at all; just too bland. Really missed the old school tomato-based recipe. Sorry, Paula!

I made this recipe as followed but used ground turkey instead. Very good and so easy to make, husband and kids liked it. Will be making this again.
