I made this today for the first time and it was yummy!!!! I'm gluten intolerant so I used Pamela's baking mix and Splenda. I will defiantly be making this over and over again!!!

I used blueberries, strawberries, blackberries and cranberries. I also added cinnamon to the filling. It was a HUGE hit, everyone loved it and great for Thanksgiving since you didn't need the oven.

Good...next time I will use only one type of berry instead of a mix.

This is tasty and convenient! I am sorry that someone called bsubird from Muncie a hillbilly. I used to make Missouri Mix when first married in the 70's. And people are making it again. I learn something new from the food network ALL the time!

I'm not an inbred hillbilly but still had to search for what 'baking mix' was in the review section. Why? I'm new to cooking. I thought it was probably Bisquick but wasn't sure. I guess according to smd1227_887925 response to Joseph from Hicksville, I'm stupid instead of just looking for information. Try to keep the remarks on an adult level. We watch Paula's show to learn something from her. If we knew it all, we wouldn't have to watch.

Thanks Paula! This recipe was excellant. I followed the advise of adding 1 cup sugar and also added a little cherry juice to the dumplings - for added flavor. Will decrease the amount of topping next time as it absorbed alot of the berry juice. But other than that...LOVED IT!

What a fabulous recipe for a church potluck! Start it just before church and it's ready by the time people get to the dessert table after church! I'm going to try it with some tropical fruit mixes. The cinnamon rolls sound like a great idea though. Maybe next time.
