I added some Chipotle peppers, as well and this came out great. Cooked all day while we were out shopping... simple!

This is a wonderful bean recipe, easy to make, good hot (or cold!. The beans held their shape, but oh, so creamy, just delicious. I didn't put them into the slo cooker until evening, so I cooked them on Low for 8 hours. I've cooked beans on the stove and wasn't nearly as happy with the results, plus I had to be around and tend to them. With this recipe the slo cooker does all the work. Thanks Paula ... Love ya!

I think these turned out great and had very good flavor. Much easier than hanging around the house cooking them on the stove all afternoon.

My boyfriend said he would marry me if I could make a great pot of beans. I tried this recipe and although I'm not engaged yet, we both really enjoyed them. I think a ring is just around the corner.

I love pinto beans, and so does most of the people from around here in TN! This is the best recipe ever, I used this recipe for a fund raiser for the United Way, it was a huge it and raised a lot of money!

I made this recipe last November when my family went to deer camp. I made it up ahead of time and heated it up on the camp fire. My pinto beans were the first to be eaten. Kinda tasted like ranch style beans. This was very good!!!
