This was a tasty recipe. My kids loved it ( they do not like traditional meatloaf. I did find the sauce at Wal-Mart for $5.16. The sauce is really good, but it does taste like a blend of bbq sauce and apple butter.

I tried this after paying $17 for the sauce and was very disappointed. Expected more when paying this much for a premade sauce that I have to buy to try a recipe. Someone mentioned about having to buy Neely BBQ sauce and dry rub - not so. The recipes are on Food Network.

I was intrigued by this recipe when I saw Paul make it. I went to her website & ordered the sauce. ($13.94 including shipping My boyfriend & I were real anxious to try it. It was easy to make and it smelled good as it cooked. I was not too surprised when it fell apart as I took it out of the pan, because it was so moist. One bite & that was all it took. Awful taste! Too sweet! My boyfriend didn't like it either. I hope I can find another use for the sauce.

I loved this recipe. It was easy to make. My family enjoyed it. I found the sauce at Dillard's for $7.99. I like the fact that Paula added her sauce to the dish. It makes it her recipe. I like to shop for different food items, so I didn't have a problem going out to buy her sauce. If you ever read these ratings, Paula, thanks another great recipe!!!!

I have never really cared for meatloaf -- can't explain why though. The other night, I decided to make meatloaf for dinner and found this recipe. I wanted to make it right away but didn't have "the" sauce so I used the apple bbq sauce recipe listed below by stacy -- it was def. one of the best meatloafs I have ever had.

    Then you'll love this.

I just got my order of the sauce delivered today, and I've been waiting on pins and needles to make this recipe. So I wasted no time getting to it.

My son who loves anything with a sweet and sticky sauce wolfed this down and asked for more. For me, I think I prefer my own traditional style meatloaf but it was still good. My husband felt the same way.

Someone down below asked if apple butter would work. The sauce is very much like a barbecue sauce. In fact, I think you could totally get away with a 50-50 mixture of your favorite barbecue sauce and apple butter.

This is a great new way to spice up and old recipe! Everyone loved it. So you think you have to buy her sauce? No you don't! Think outside of the box! Even if you did, big deal! So, she plugged her product. Some of us don't watch QVC - and would not have known about her sauce had it not been on this show.

I loved this recipe. I get tired of the same ole thing. And I too have other meatloaf recipes that I like. So What, if you have to buy her sauce? Anytime I go to make a recipe I have to be sure I have bought all the ingredients. The sauce is delicious and I am going to try it as a glaze on pork chops by just brushing on a little at a time while they are cooking. The Neely's have many great BBQ recipes and if you want yours exactly like theirs then you have to purchase their sauce or you buy a different kind. Same with this Smokey Apple Cinnamon Sauce, try adding regular cinnamon applesauce to the meatloaf plus maybe some cumin or smoked paprika or just a very small drop of liquid smoke. I just don't get all the fuss over Paula using her sauce. Emeril does it too!

This could be one of her QVC spots. Oh, and Rob, this website provides NOTHING for free - perhaps you've noticed all the ads on this site? Yeah, foo network has been well paid for the content of this site.

I would respectfully submit that most of us on this site have printed a hundred or more recipes from foodnetwork.com for FREE. Paula, as well as most every celebrity chef on FN or other channels, have their own products, including sauces. It only stands to reason that the chef give some recipes in which their products are used. Many would probably complain if they bought the sauce and didn't know what they should use it in!

If you can't find the sauce, or don't want to buy it, get creative! Smokey Apple Cinnamon Applesauce...hmmmm. Try blending or pureeing some regular cinnamon applesauce with a drop of liquid smoke. Taste it and if you like it, great.Add some other spices until you get it the way you want it. If you don't like it, think of something else. No one says you have to follow every recipe to the "T".

I also don't believe that the FN would be selling all of the products they do were there not a demand for it. If you don't want to buy the product or even make the recipe, then don't! There are MANY recipes that I see online or in cookbooks that I don't want to cook. I don't blame the author for it though!
