I make this every holloween and it is always a success. It is fun to paint it. I will keep making it until I hear different from friends and family!

I have made this every year at Halloween for the past 4 or 5 years. My son who is now 15 asks me to make it every year. It is always a big hit. I made it one year with Pizza toppings of choice and served it with Pizza sauce for dipping. It was very good like that also.

I'm not quite sure how Paula fit 30 oz of meat and 12 oz of cheese in one can of crescent rolls! I altered the recipe slightly for my blog on healthy recipes - blogfoodbetter.blogspot.com and it came out great - good for a night when you're craving a salty hoagie.

I have made this "sandwich" for the past 4 years as well. Our friends hold an annual pumpkin carving party and we all contribute a dish. This always the first to disappear! I have so much fun painting the snake to give it personality!

This was too cute to see Paula do this on TV,,BUT way too much meat inside, I had a mess trying to roll this up with the mustard and now it's about to burn trying to get the bottom to cook, it's all wet and slimy because of the meat juices leaking out the bottom, not able to eat this! I'm an advanced cook and sorry we wasted monry trying to make this

Snake bites are the best made 2 of them last year at our annual Halloween party and they vanished within only minutes...This is such an easy and really delicious staple for all seasons; we changed the shape but maintained the ingredients for Christmas made them into wreaths instead of snakes. Due to financial reasons our annual Halloween party was canceled this year but we're still making 2 of these tasty snakes just for us to enjoy. Thanks Paula!

I love this recipe. This time, I'm stuffing it with some pepperonis, mozzerella cheese and brushed lightly with a little pizza sauce on the inside to keep it from getting TOO soggy. The remaining pizza sauce will be in little cups on the side for dunking later.
p.s. Paula . . . you're so damn cute.

I have made this for every Halloween party at work for the past 4 years. My friends can't get enough of it. They love the way it looks and the flavor is fantastic. Trust me, they will think your amazingly creative. Dont tell them how easy it is to make
