Ingredients

8 cups snow, or shaved ice
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Place snow or shaved ice into a large bowl. Pour condensed milk over and add vanilla. Mix to combine. Serve immediately in bowls.

I get so excited when we get a big snow storm because I love to make and eat snow ice cream with my children! I agree with... Julie of Palmyra, VA - it's a right of childhood. If people are concerned about germs, toxins and pollution, they better put their kids in a plastic bubble. There's a lot worse out there than snow ice cream. It's one of the best memories you can make for your kids.Read more

Friends are making me feel like a bad parent because I let the kids eat snow!

I love this recipe and it tastes just like my Grandmother made when I was little! My kids LOVED it and it was so easy. The... only problem I have with making the ice cream was hearing all the negative comments from my friends!! "I can't believe you let your kids eat snow with all the germs, toxins and pollution!!"
