So Good! I have made these a number of times and they always turn out fabulous. Agree with other reviews, they only need to boil for a few seconds. I put two in and take the first out as soon as I put the second in. Other than that, they always turn out perfect for me!

My house smelled soooooo gooooood while these baked, yum!
Easy to make, my only complaint is the waiting! One tip I'd like to offer is to line the cookie sheet with parchment paper and lightly oil with vegetable oil and reduce oven temp to 450 degrees.

These took me so long and they didn't really turn out! I'm not sure what i did wrong. They turned out a bit doughy. The boiling thing was also a bit more difficult than i thought it would be. My first pretzel fell to pieces as the baking soda made the water fizz and bubble everywhere! Maybe I'm a terrible cook, but I'm not sure i'll brave this one again, even though i very much love Paula :

Made my husband's night when I surprised him with these. Just like the expensive appetizer pretzels at the popular happy hours. Thanks to those who reviewed - I used about 5 cups water, only put in boiling water for 30 seconds, drained before putting back on the sheet, re-oiled the sheet and stored leftovers in a ziploc bag to keep soft. Great tips! Worked like a charm.

I've made pretzels 3 times now.. A couple of years ago(another non food net. recipe////a flop.. I tried Almost World Famous Pretzel last week and it was much better, giving me hope that I could do this!!!. Today I am using your recipe and it seems like it will be good also.. It is raising now as I write... My question is , if I want to make some rolls out of this dough, would it work for burgers or other types of sandwiches or do I have to change some ingredients??? Last night on Guy's Big Bites at a diner he traveled to served a sandwich or burger on a pretzel roll and it sounded like something my family might like.. I checked and found no recipe for a pizza roll, so I'm assuming it is just a homade pretzel shaped in the form of a roll before baking... Plrase help if possible..Thanks Paula

I didn't think it would taste as good as the mall ones but it so did! Super easy, and few ingredients, unlike others on FoodNetwork. The only thing I changed was placing the pretzel in the water solution for 30 seconds to prevent exploding pretzels. Soo good! Thanks, Paula!

Very yummy! Mine floated from the beginning too but I just flipped them half way and they were perfect! Oh and if you want cinnamon and sugar on them you have to do it afterwards since at that temp for that long they'd burn every time.

WOW! I will NEVER buy frozen pretzels ever again! I am a beginner cook and these came out awesome!

One tip I would like to recommend and maybe it's common sense for pro cooks but after boiling the pretzels make sure you drain them very well before putting back on the cookie sheet.

After my pretzels were boiled I used some margarine mixed with a small amount of garlic and sea salt from a grinder.

These pretzels came out light as air!!!

Check your pretzels at about 7 minutes because mine were perfectly brown at 7 minutes.

    WTG Paula!

These pretzels did not turn out for me. When I baked them, I topped some with cinnamon and sugar and some with salt. The toppings ended up burning before the pretzels were done. They also tasted bitter and really salty. Does anybody know what I did wrong?
