I think that I personally messed up this recipe. I did not use self rising flour, because I only had all purpose. I added a touch of baking powder, but I am not sure what I did wrong. Can someone help me with this? The middle of the muffins came out kind of undone. Is it normal not to have to use and egg?

These "muffins" are like biscuits because it is Red Lobster cheese biscuits-without the cheese and butter/garlic basting after baking. Try them with ? cup grated sharp cheddar and brush them with garlic butter when they come out of the oven.

Can't get easier than this with only 3 ingredients that turn out to be melt-in-your mouth delicious with anything they're paired with. Honey, cinnamon, jam, gravies, cream cheeses...you name it, these muffins go wonderfully with everything!

These are possibly the best "muffins" I've ever had. Although more like a biscuit in taste and consistancy. Made these to go along with Paula's Bacon Cheeseburger Meatloaf and it was meal to die for! Will definitely be making these again and again and again!

If you want a great biscuit from Paula try Uncle Bubbas Beer biscuits!! They are to die for.
