This is such a fabulous party drink - the ice ring is such a great touch and it is all so easy!

I really enjoyed this receipe. Where I'm from its just simply called "hunch punch". but this punch had a little more punch to it. it will be used this Christmas and New Years Eve.

I made this punch for a New Years party, and it was a huge hit. My only regret was not making a double batch. It was gone by 11:00. We could not find Banana daquari mix, so we used Pina colada and it worked great. I imagine you could use any daquari mix. Don't hesitate to use the whole bottle of wiskey. As the lemonade ring melts, it blends the flavors real well.

I made this Christmas of 04'. Everyone loved it, especially my nephew who turned the punch bowl up side down to get the last drop of the wonderful southern creation.

Besides doing the ice ring a few days earlier, this was VERY easy! The ice ring makes so tasty looking and even after adding the entire 1/5, the punch still didn't taste strong.

Wonderful punch. I made this for a party and it was a hit. Could not find banana daiquiri mix so I used strawberry and it was great. Thank you Paula!

I made this punch for a party recently, and everyone loved it. We couldn't find frozen banana daiquiri mix here in the Boston area, so we used banana-flavored liquor instead. We also used vodka instead of southern comfort. It was delicious.
