I grew up in Georgia, so I have had great stuffing. This is even better than my grandmother cornbread stuffing or my Aunt Rosa's Oyster Stuffing. Now that's good food.

This is so good it even stood up to a tiny bit of corner cutting -- used an organic cornbread mix rather than starting from scratch. That said, I followed recipe from then on and it was amazing.

I live in the South and know great Southern Food. You can place this mixture in a thin pan if you like a more dry stuffing.

i was born and raised in the south, i have been eating dressing like this forever, i cant stand the stuff from the box, oh and there is a differece between dressing and stuffing, dressing is ment to be more moist sorda like a spoon bread stuffing is ment to be sorda dry so it holds well in what ever you are stuffing

I call cornbread stuffing like this Suwannee County style stuffing and I didn't have a recipe for it. My daughter loved it and she said she only liked Stove Top!

I just submstitute Jiffy cornbread muffins in place of the cornbread in the recipe. We all loved it including my 12 year old.

i'm usually not a big fan of dressing-usually it has too much sage for my taste-but this recipe rocks...i've made it on numerous occasions and for christmas this past year..ir received rave reviews from everyone in my family..
