Easy recipe and very delicious. Makes alot, too. I used boxed cornbread mix instead. I would definitely make this again.

This stuffing was the best I ever tasted that wasn't stuffed in a turkey.
The only thing is that you have to let it sit outside for a while or it will be too watery right out of the oven

One great stuffing; great reviews from all my guests. I have made so many different cornbread stuffings in the past, but none ever compared to this one. Word of advice, use a large bowl or pot, you will need the space to mix all the ingredients thoroughly. Other than that, I followed the recipe to the letter and it came out fantastic. Thanks Paula for a great one!

I'm from South Carolina and this Southern dressing turned out exactly how I remembered growing up. I didn't know how to get that same flavor until now. Don't skip the sage and poultry seasoning though! Its really isn't optional. I made this last year and will be making it this year. Thank you Paula. For the person asking if the whole cornbread should be used: Yes.

I made this stuffing double quantity and my family and I loved it. ALTHOUGH, I do have to tell you... my husband doesn't like eggs and even though he liked the flavor, he said it was a little too eggy. So, I'm going to try it again this year with 1/2 egg 1/2 whites. Maybe a few less, and more broth. I don't know, but less eggy tasting for him! I loved it, though.
