Yummy!!! I even made the cranberry/maple sauce. I had not made turkey and dressing in over 30years and mom passed away last year so I didn't have anyone to call and ask for help. I was a nervous wreck, but Paula you came throuh for me and it was a hit. I will definately use the recipe over and over again. - thanks for sharing.

What I love about this recipe is that it's so easy to use as a guide. Like others have said, it's that recipe of your grandma's that you never wrote down. Take what you have and tweak it according to these guidelines. It's delicious.

This recipe definitely took me back to my days in my grandmother's kitchen at Thanksgiving. I made this recipe once and have been doing it every Thanksgiving and Christmas for the last couple of years. It always comes out great and the family loves it. I highly recommend it! Tastes just as good as grandmas'!

Very tasty, but I have to agree w/ some of the other reviewers who said that 6 cups of stock would have been better than 7. With 7, I had to keep it in the oven way longer to firm up, and finally (because we were waiting on it to eat I had to turn the heat up to 400 to make it firm up a little. 6 cups of stock would've been perfect!!

This is the closest to my original family recipe that I remember as a child. Paula Deen hit the nail on the head with this one. My whole family LOVES it just like I did. It's even better when warmed up the next day. I use my own cornbread recipe, but the rest is the same.

There was just something about this recipe i didn't care for...maybe the cornbread? I made it for Thanksgiving and some liked it and some thought it was just ok. I gave it 3 stars because there were a fair share that liked it, but me? not so much!

This year everyone was coming to my house for Thanksgiving dinner, so I wanted to serve something tasty and easy to make. For having 2 school aged kids (picker eaters they even loved the cornbread stuffing, and having a 2 month old baby(time budget. I was able to pull the recipe together in time for our dinner. Everyone loved it, and I wanted to take all the credit, but couldn't, I told them it was Paula Deen's recipe. As for the recipe I only used 4 cups of the stock and 3 eggs. It turned out perfect. I wouldn't follow the recipe to the T b/c it might turn out soupy. Thank you paula for your wonderful recipes.
