    My first time to fry catfish!! The combination between flour and corn meal was just perfect. It tasted fantastic. A really easy recipe that tastes great. I will definitely have this again.

    I was going to try to make "getting fried catfish right" hard. Then I figured, Paula Deen will know how to fry some Southern Catfish.

    How simple was that!

    I've made this twice already. It's a good, solid recipe. I had never added Old Bay to my catfish before but it added a little extra zing. However, I'm still searching for that perfect recipe that will give me a crunchy-to-the-bite exterior. Until then, this recipe will be my go-to. :
