I grew up eating fried chicken, and I tried this recipe, and was pleased that it is a good variation on what I already eat.

I must say I was skeptical about this recipe. I was afraid the red pepper sauce would make the chicken hot and spicy, but it didn't. Everyone told me it was the best fried chicken they had ever eaten. Do yourself a favor and try this recipe. You will not regret it. Be sure to follow the directions exactly as written and be sure to have your oil at the right temp.

Made this for a family gathing at my house. I was a bit scared since it was a new recipe but I knew it was Paula's so my chances were good.
    It was a big hit.
I did 2 large chickens and a pack of boneless breast.I cut the breast into strips. I had plenty of dipping batter for all of it.
The strips come out much more spicer so if that is what you are looking for I would sure try doing some boneless chichen cut into strips.
    Love Ya Paula !!!
