I have made this fried chicken several times. There is no need to try another recipe. This one's the best!

If I could give this recipe 10 stars, I would!! I used to be a chicken chump, but thanks to this recipe I'm now a chicken champ!! You won't believe how flavorful, juicy, and moist it is. It was so simple and easy to make. For first time chicken cookers, it's definitely a must try. Thanks Paula Deen for giving me a chicken recipe that can outshine my own mother's cooking!!

This past Memorial Day I had the family over. I had pork ribs, steaks, and the fried chicken. Some of the ribs, and steaks were left but there was no trace of the chicken left, it was the first thing to go. My friend said this beats Kentucky fried. It was delicious, the best I have had outside my mothers.

This is bar none the best Fried Chicken EVER! It really does take just like KFC chicken, only better and less greasy! I would cut the salt and pepper down a little next time I make it though. I also let the chicken drain on newspaper/paper towel for about 5 minutes, and then I put it in the oven to keep warm until serving. AWESOME! My hard-to-please husband and picky 3 and 4 year olds LOVED it!
Thank you for this recipe!
