    I have been looking for a good fried chicken recipe for so long. I don't cook fried chicken too often, but crave it once in awhile. I have tried numerous recipes, and this one tops them all. This is the first recipe where the skin stayed on. I cut back on the hot sauce because of my little ones, and it was still fantastic. I love you Paula. I have so many of your recipes in my "book of secrets"

    This is a fabulous recipe for fried chicken! For our 4th of July party I used a deep fried turkey pot and filled it up halfway with oil (outside of course I also brined the chicken before cooking. It came out very tasty and juicy. It's a little messy but well worth the effort - everyone loved this chicken!

    I have tried so many fried chicken recipes and for once the topping didn't fall off, it was cooked but still juicy, and it was burned. Plus the flavor was great, no left overs.
