I made this and used boneless, skinless breast. Man was it goooood! Not too spicy, just a slight zing to it.

My husband and I love all Paula's recipes, but her fried chicken with hot sauce is the best!

I tried this recipe using boneless/skinless chicken breast cut into strips. It cooked up quickly and was great with a side of cream gravy.

Ever since I saw Paula make this one a show, I've used this recipe. My mom and aunt made good fried chicken. This is the better fried chicken! The only difference is I use the hot sauce mixture as an overnight marinade and I deep fry instead of pan fry. My daughter who'd stopped eating fried chicken begs for this. I'm making it again on Easter for friends and family. Cassandra-Spartanburg, SC

I've never been able to fry chicken. It just never turned out right. And after tasting Paula's chicken at The Lady & Sons last summer, I resigned myself to NEVER being able to fry chicken. Then I saw this show. I followed the recipe and it was amazing. Marinating the chicken in the seasonings first adds so much flavor and the subtle flavor the hot sauce adds is remarkable! I've wanted to fry chicken every night since I made it...it reminds me of how much I loved visiting Savannah and Charleston. This woman KNOWS how to fry some chicken!

My family loved this recipe. They don't want regular fried chicken any more.
