I think it is missing ketchup.

Very tasty! For those that thought it was too tart - did you even read how much vinegar was in it? If you think it's too runny - just add 2 Tablespoons of cornstarch to thicken it up. I'm planning to use this on some barbecued chicken tonight. Without the cornstarch, it will make a perfect Thai peanut dipping sauce for summer rolls! I amped it up a bit with some diced fresh jalapenos.

Most excellent. It's a vinegar sauce. Very North Carolina and very, very tasty. The peanut butter is perfect in it, as is the celery seed.

It's a thin sauce not a thick sauce. It's as it's supposed to be. If you don't like thin vinegar sauces, definitely find another recipe.

I don't use the celery seed at all, I don't like it. But as for the rest, I love it!

I agree with Donnaashart, this recipe simply CANNOT be correct and should be corrected if not removed.

2 Tbsp of celery seed alone! That is a crunchy sauce! Flavor is BAD. I had to throw everything out, completely inedible.

I read the reviews, so went in with my radar up. After I doctored this recipe (WAY less vinegar, more brown sugar; plus I added honey and apple butter, this recipe bore no resemblance to the original. I will keep what I ended up with, but the original recipe is WAY TOO TART! I think that store bought suce is superior to this!

I DVR'D THIS EPISODE AND THIS RECIPE WAS NOT EVEN REALLY PAULA'S. IT WAS DURING THE COMMERCIAL BREAK AS A TIP WITH BOTH HER SON'S AND THEY SAID IT WAS THEIR AUNT'S RECIPE. UNFORTUNATELY, THEY DID NOT PROVIE AMOUNTS. I TRIED TO ESTIMATE BASED ON THE MEASURING CONTAINER BOBBY WAS USING. I THINK THE AMOUNTS WERE CONSISTANT WITH THE RECIPE GIVEN ON THIS SITE. I AM GOING TO TO TO ADJUST IT MYSELT ONCE AND AFTER THAT, I WILL DELETE.

SORRY I WAS NOT ABLE TO HELP FURTHER. MARIA
