This was delicious and easy. I served it as a desert instead of breakfast, and it was a huge hit. Definitely a keeper!

My husband's work has a "breakfast club" in which participants take a turn to bring goodies for the entire office on Friday mornings. It was his turn this past week, and this lucious cake was one of the things I made for him to bring in. (Sorry ladies, he just can't cook, himself, I had to make it for him! His co-workers LOVED it! I will be making it for MY work THIS week!

This is an easy cake. I've made it several times and each time it comes out good. The last time I made it I used a can of cream cheese frosting and it was sooooo good. Don't over mix or bake.

I plan on having this the number one cake ready for my grandson when he visits. He loves the spicy tones in pumpkin pie and I bet he'd enjoy this one. Thanks Paula.

I did a double take when I was making this recipe. A similar coffee cake I make mixes the cinnamon, pecans and sugar with softened butter. I followed the recipe exactly as written, and it was fluffy and moist, but my husband said it would be even better if it had a glaze on top. After the cake has cooled, it is really good if you spread some cinnamon flavored butter on a slice and microwave it for about 20 seconds.

FYI, for anyone living at a high altitude, this recipe did not need any adjustments.

It was easy to put this together but I made it twice and it came out dry both times.
