These are to die for! Delicious but you do need to add quite a lot of flour so they don't fall apart while cooking. Next time I will try the suggestion of two boxes of corn muffin mix.

I absolutely loved this recipe. Although, I found using two 8oz boxes of corn muffin mix was needed to make the batter more concentrated. Also, I used 1 1/2 lbs of crabmeat and instead of frozen corn I used 1 cup of canned corn.

I made a half-order of these for tonight's dinner, and they were DELICIOUS! I used jumbo lump crab meat and Louisiana hot sauce. My husband and the in-laws were in food heaven ;

A word of advice; handle the puffs with extra caution during the first 30-45 seconds of frying. I had a couple break on me during frying.
