I really liked this dish, as did my family and our guest. I did add some spicy kielbasa and a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little more kick. The cornbread topping really added a lot to this dish. Will definitely make this again. Thanks, Paula!!!

This is the best seafood casserole I have ever had. I tell all my friends about how easy it is to make. I use small shrimp when I make it for a crowd.

My husband liked this dish. I , however, did not at all like it. It came out runny and I didn't feel the flavor was as rich as it looked on the show.
I LOVE Paula and I lived in Savannah for 3 years! Sorry, this recipe wasn't great for me!!!!
    Thanks!

I used tomatos w/ jalepenos instead of salsa (my house likes spicy, not mild, but in the end I just could not get used to the "mexican" flavor (salsa/tomatos mixing with the "italian" flavor (cheeses, oregano. It also ended up watery, despite draining most of the tomato water. I wouldn't make this again, without changing it up and leaving OUT the tomato/salsa.

You definitely would think that this would be a little weird sounding, but it is amazing. My family all went back for seconds, and thirds!!

I served this dish at a dinner party last year and I'm still getting compliments. To save time,I used a jar of roasted garlic alfredo sauce instead of making the cream sauce. I added diced spicy sausage for extra flavor. Deelish!!!
