Quite honestly, I make this in a MUCH simpler way and it always gets people raving. I omit the spinach and just do bacon and swiss. I buy the oscar meyer precooked bacon and cut it in little pieces and then just stir it all together in a bowl with the eggs, whipping cream, cheese, salt and pepper and pour it into the crust. You can't go wrong!! So yummy and so easy!! Although, i have to say, however you make it, it does take longer than 40 minutes to cook so beware if you are in a time crunch.

Guy's-guy new hubby and my curmudgeon parents loved this quiche for 1st brunch! Not known for my attention to detail so usually don't cook things requiring measurements, but this was super easy! Made lots of changes to use up what I had on hand: Reduced milk to 1C. Used light almond milk not heavy cream. Added 1C cheese. Will take my fat in the form of cheese over milk, thank you very much! Used fresh grated parm, bagged shredded cheese, and 3 slices of fresh mozz for top only. No bacon/spinach. Used 1 med yellow onion roughly chopped + 3 cloves minced garlic, sauteed/cooled. Used alton's piecrust recipe, par-baked for 15min. Layers, bottom to top: 1C cheese; Onion+garlic; Egg/milk; 1/5C cheese. Plus 1 diced turkey sausage link for last 10min. Then broiled with fresh mozz for 2min. Used square glass dish because pie plate shattered all over the kitchen when I accidentally put it down on an active burner. I told you I'm not very detail oriented! Good thing it wasnt the Le Creuset!

Loved it !!! Used 2 Marie Callender deep dish unbaked pie crusts and they work great. Wrapped up one and froze it for a month. Defrosted in fridge, next day baked as usual. Prior to placing in oven, wrapped crusts with foil and then removed with 15 or so minutes to finish. Also put them on a thin cookie sheet in case they spilled. Took almost 45 minutes. Today's batch was done with Jimmy Dean hot sausage and they rocked. love you Paula !!!

Absolutely delish! Added 3 green onions and a dash of nutmeg and it came out perfect. Definitely adding this to my meal rotation. I might try sautéing the spinach with red onions next time first. So simple and easy to make.

Not good at all! Very, very disappointing. Followed directions exactly; baked for 45 minutes, the top browned very quickly almost burnt, the middle was not cooked at all. Covered the top with foil, put back in the oven, the middle cooked, but it tasted like a scrambled egg omlette; it was horrible, threw the whole thing out. Love most of Paula Deen's recipes, but sorry this one is a waste of perfectly good bacon, eggs and time.

Delicious and so easy to make. If you get a good frozen pie crust even easier to make!

Oh my gosh....this was soooo good! I used two frozen Mrs. Smith's pie crusts. 1c chopped spinach in each. 1c. shredded swiss in each. The pound of bacon divided between the two. 10 eggs and 2 c. of fat free half and half. Baked on a tray for 40 mins. Let rest 5 mins. Heavenly.
