    This was a great recipe to be able to make into my own. I did use a deep dish pie crust. I have a husband, 8 children, a son-in-law and 2 grandchildren, and they all loved it. I used a mixture of bread crumbs and some finely grated cheddar cheese to make a wonderful crunchy topping. I used frozen spinach, well drained, but pretty much kept everything else the same, did add a touch of nutmeg like others had suggested. This was wonderful, and if my husband and teenage sons can be filled on a meal like this, it is worth it's weight in gold to me! Thanks for a wonderful recipe!

    it was just average...maybe i was doing it wrong, but the bacon and spinach would never stay in the egg mixture - the bacon would always sink to the bottom and the spinach would always float to the top.
