As others have mentioned, I found this to have a pretty strong vinegar flavor, so added a bit more honey mustard. My husband says it's his new favorite thing to eat, so I guess we will be having it again this week!

I just made this for the first time for a Progressive Dinner. There were nine of us and everyone loved it, plus some went for second helpings, and we had four courses, it was a hit!

Out of this world! I added blue cheese and sliced steak to it as well. I dipped a piece of steak into the dressing before pouring and I added a little more honey mustard to taste. I know what I'm taking for my lunch tomorrow!!!

Waaaaay too much vinegar for my taste. Prepared exactly as written (it's simple it looks beautiful, but there was entirely too much acid (and my guests agreed. Close, but there are better.

Up until now I avoided spinach salads. I guess I was tramautized by a few gritty/mushy spinach experiences in my childhood. My curiosity was peaked when I saw this episode. I figured if I loved sauteed, seasoned spinach then this must be pretty close. Besides, Paula and Bobby made it look like it was a flavor explosion. So what the heck. This salad is good! This is what I've been passing up?!!! This won't be my last spinach salad thanks to the Deens. And to think there is no mayo, cream cheese, or sour cream in it! Go figure!

YUMMY!! By far the best warm bacon dressing EVER! Because I cook only for myself, I cut the recipe, so added only approximate amounts. I thought the red wine vinegar made it, oh-so-so-so-GOOD. I also did not have honey mustard so added honey to brown mustard. And I added a chopped boiled egg. The flavor was fantastic. Can't rave about it enough.

This is a simple, quick and tasty salad! I was already cooking sweet onions for dinner, so I separated some out for the salad. I sauteed the mushrooms slightly as well. I didn't have honey mustard, but used dijon instead. I also went a little lighter on the vinegar. My husband gobbled all the bacon before I could add it to the salad, so I substituted real bacon bits instead. A lower sodium bacon or turkey bacon would be a good substitute for the more health conscious. A most excellent go-to side salad or even a main dish with some nice bread. Delish!

Love it. So did my SUPER picky 6 & 11 year old boys. We didn't give them too much, but thought they had to at least try it. WHOOHOO! Even the mushrooms were gobbled up. I didn't have regular honey mustard, but had some honey mustard salad dressing. Easy switcheroo.
I will take a little credit that we used our own farm grown eggs and bacon. But the salad was a hit.
