Cannot believe some people used the whole recipe of house seasoning in their casserole. You haven't been cooking or watching Paula for very long!

I made this for a dinner party this week. OMG what a hit it was. Thanks once again Paula. Easy can be made ahead. Add crumbs just before baking and soooooo delicious

This recipe specifically called for 1 teaspoon of this "house recipe" ingredient and to claim that you put 1 cup or so of it in the recipe is hideous and repulsive. C'mon! Where's your common sense kitchen groove. A cup of salt really? It said to store the "house recipe" in an airtight container for later use. Obviously Ms. Deen uses this "house recipe" regularly due to her having YOU make up a good size quantity of it. Really people? You really thought that she would reccomend that much salt for one meal for one family? I am totally surprised. Ms. Deen's reputation is way more reputable that that!!!!

Lol! MaysonD-- I can't stop laughing!!! You are supposed to use a teaspoon of the house seasoning-- Not a cup!
This recipe is really good, as long as you don't add a cup of salt... Duh! :

I followed the recipe to the "T," and I may as well have eaten salt out of the canister. I didn't even use the whole 1 cup of salt. I used maybe 3/4 a cup, which I still thought was ridiculous. I think it would be a great recipe if the "House Blend" of seasonings were proportionate. USE MUCH LESS SALT or you will be throwing it out!

Not tasty at all. My kids and hubby thought it was disgusting, but I gave it 2 stars because I was able to finish my serving. Looks the the rest will be dumped, unfortunately. I had originally thought it could be a great addition to the "veggie" recipes. But I will not be making this again.

Simple and easy enough for this mother of 3 to make in a flash. Ib had purchased squash and was looking for a new way too cook it. I substituted low fat cream cheese for sour cream and wheat thins for Ritz, but it was still great! I also used seasoned salt and black pepper as opposed to hoose seasoning. Thumbs up!
