Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons minced onion
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons snipped fresh parsley leaves
  • 1 pound beef tenderloin, cut into 8 slices

Directions

Melt 4 tablespoons of the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. This is a very good quick version for "Steak Diane" and instead of keeping it on the stove top. I place the sauce & steaks in a pan in the oven and let it cook for about 15mins at a temp of 275....It is simply delicious, if you are not fond of butter then use less and it still turns out to be quite a delightful dish!

This was delicious! We ate every bite, the dogs were begging us for tastes and the house smelled marvelous afterward..
