Normally I shy away from Paula Deen recipes (I like to eat healthy, but I wanted to make a basil lemonade for Mother's Day. I had a pint of raspberries, which tied into the meal, and used them instead of the strawberries. I'd probably omit all the berries in the future. They overpowered the simplicity of the basil/lemon combination. I also only added 12 cups of water, and found it to be a little watery.

I loved this! It was very simple to make and my husband loved it. We are not fans of basil so we used mint instead. This is a keeper, thank you Paula Deen!
