I made this for my wife on Mother's Day (today. However, I drizzled some chocolate syrup in with the cream cheese and strawberries. I also added a little cinnamon in the egg mixture. Then, I topped it with strawberries, powdered sugar and a tad more chocolate syrup. DELICIOUS! She is a happy mom!!

We had extra strawberry cream cheese and I didn't want it to go to waste so I made this and LOVED it. I sprinkled powdered sugar on top when it was done & it was perfect. I didn't put strawberries inside but it tasted fantastic. The cream cheese was warm and so delicious. I will definitely be making this again!

Made this today as a test run for guests at our B&B. I made homemade bread last night and it turned out great. I put a thin smear of cream cheese on both sides (you could see the bread through it in just a few places so it wasn't too thick, piled the fresh strawberries inside and mashed them together. Putting the cream cheese on both sides ensures that the edges will seal well and keeps the strawberry juices in a little pocket. I do think it would have been a little bland if it weren't for the strawberry sauce (which was excellent!!! not too sweet All in all, the guests loved it and this will now be a regular item on our breakfast menu.
