I will try using the Limoncello. Also, make sure you do not accidently buy sugar free strawberry preserves. it kind of gave it that "sugar free after taste". Other than that, it was easy and good. I will definitely try this recipe again though!

    SWEET TART DOUGH:
1 cup plus 1 tablespoon confectioners' sugar
    1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
    Pinch salt
    9 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
    1 large egg
Sift together the confectioners' sugar, flour, and salt into a bowl. Place the butter in a food processor and process until smooth, about 15 seconds. Scatter the flour mixture over the butter, add the egg, and process just until the dough forms a mass; do not overmix. Turn the dough out onto the counter and divide it into 2 pieces. Shape each half into a disc, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate.
Press small balls of doung in mini-muffin pans. Bake 325 degrees. Do not overbake. Cool. Ready for Strawberry Tiramisu filling.
(I will follow back and give a real rating after I taste test.

I made these tarts for my daughter's Bridal Shower and they were delicious! I used phyllo tart shells because I couldn't find the others, but thought this was a great substitute. I made too much filling so the next day, I used the filling in a pie. I just baked a crust, put strawberry preserves on the bottom, blueberries and sliced strawberries, the leftover filling and then covered with whipped cream. YUM!

I made this over the weekend. My intent was to have made them for a function in February, but had such a hard time finding the "TART SHELLS" I used mini phyllo shells instead. They were not worth the $7 that I spent for Marscapone cheese. They were pretty, but, I could most definitely find another Paula recipe that tastes like I slaved in the kitchen all day. They were just: Okay!

These were great and so pretty too. I also used raspberries. I was worried about the alcohol taste of the limoncello, but it was delicious. I didn't have lemon extract, so I just used vanilla. That was fine, too.

I found the mini sweet tart shells at Fresh Market. This is a chain of upscale boutique food shops in the southeast. Made by Clearbrook Farms and come in 2 sizes. The bite-size minis are 24 to a box. A similar type of grocery maybe online?

I used mini fillo pastries and it worked great. Its of course a little less sugar, but worked great. I also replaced the strawberries and used raspberries and put chocolate on the top of some (for the chocolate raspberry fans among my guests.

The only thing to be wary of when using the fillo pastry is that it can absorb the moisture from the cream filling so either fill before serving or freeze.

Great recipe- recommend it to anyone!

This recipe was very easy. It had a lot of flavor - the strawberries on top really added to the whole package. My group said it was a "keeper!" Should be able to substitute raspberries for the strawberries.
